We are planning to go to grand canyon and so I have looked around for tours but so far, I have not seen one which will take us to the south rim and the skywalk (which is on the west rim) as well. I have looked around for bus tours, i’ve also tried looking for helicopter/plane tours. It looks like I’ll have to choose one, not both, considering that we only have one day to spare because we still want to see vegas..please help..Thanks!
The national park on the south rim is vastly preferable to the Skywalk, for a number of reasons: price, frustration (long trip to get to the Skywalk, many restrictions, few amenities, etc.). The area of the Skywalk isn’t really in the main canyon, anyway, and you see the same thing you could see standing anywhere on the canyon’s rim, which runs for hundreds of miles. Grand Canyon Village is much nicer.
