I understand the Grand Canyon is the gorge left after millions of years of the Colorado River weaving its way through the bedrock. Now that we have the current day condition of how the Grand Canyon appears, is our present and future global warming crisis cause for concern that the river may once again flow like it did millions of years ago? I don’t know what magnitude of global warming we are discussing but I would safely assume by this time that many cities and states would be submerged underwater.
Hye everyone.. I’ll be visiting Grand Canyon this June and hope to book a tour from Vegas. I can see the South Rim tour is considerably cheaper than West Rim tour generally, but I don’t mind paying 40 bucks more if it is worth it. Any suggestion about it (including the tour company would be really appreciated) Thanks!
What’s wrong with this itinerary? There are 3 adults in a rental car consisting of a couple in their late 40’s and a grandfather in his mid 60’s. None of them have ever been to California and only one speaks English although not very well:
