Bus Tours Archives

im getting married this August in Vegas. I’ve yet to book our tickets and all. But this is what i got on mind.
Little Church of the West for the Wedding Ceremony. or A Red Rock Wedding considering it’s gonna be summertime?
I’m still confused as to where to have a small party of 10 or less. Is eating on the buffets, ok?
where to book the hotel either in Sahara or Stratosphere? but Sahara got good deals. and maybe we can eat in Sahara buffet after the wedding.LOL.
who to trust for my bridal make-up?
other than free sites to see in Vegas, what are other must see for us who haven’t been in Vegas for a small fortune? the bus tours are cheaper? one friend wants to check the Grand Canyon but i know it can be expensive…
Help. ASAP. thank you.

I saw a recent TV program about a three day bus tour that “loops” around to Zion, the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, and Bryce National parks. The tour stops at the individual lodges each night. The TV program didn’t list any information on who to contact. Any help?

I am going to Vegas with my wife and two friends, we will be there for five days and plan on going to the grand canyon for a day.
We also plan on seeing lots of sites in las vegas should we rent a car for our whole stay or just for the day and take the bus up and down the strip? we will be there in the middle of feb.
we can rent a car for 120 bucks for the whole time . Or 40 bucks for the day …..
if you add in 40 bucks for a taxi to and from the airport. were up to 80 before we even get up and down the strip .

Is it really busy from sunday night to friday morning in las vegas in feburary.

I know which ever one i choose i will wish i had gone with the other…
any more suggestions would be great……

Also were is the best view of the grand canyon with out having to pay for it???

Greetings from NY
Happy New Year everyone/!
I have been in almost all East coast including East Canada
I have been to Vegas 10 years ago but this is all about West
I want to go see California, or Washington
And, since I don’t drive, my option is a organized guide tour. I checked some packages.
California trip including flying NY to CA and back, inland bus touring LA, San Diego, San Fransisco, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon.
Since I have been to Vegas and Grand Canyon, I am not so happy to waste my time on it (Grand Canyon is breathtaking though). And the other thing, the inland travel will be on bus. I remember 1 day bus trip from LV to Grand Canyon-desert and nothing else, boring with TV)
what is your suggestion? Is there nice packages for California alone, maybe flying to San-Francisco.

Many thanks
I am thinking April
what is the best time anyway? not too rainy not too hot

Hi All,

I live in Italy and my girlfriend and I are planning a trip to the west of the USA (landing in LA then moving to Monument Valley, Grand Canyon, Lake Powell/Page, Bryce Canyon) for September 2010 and I’m looking for advice about affordable places to stay at, how to get around (rented car, bus, train…?), how to dress for the desert and what do we need to bring with us (water, etc). Thanks!

This is my agenda; see if its good?
Fly to san fo by plane and stay for 5 days (see and shop), then fly to los angeles and stay, see and shop.

From los angeles, i plan to take bus to vegas. How long would bus ride take? Are there travel agents who operate to run from los angeles to vegas?.

Stay in vegas for a day and head off to grand canyon by bus – is 5 hrs good enough to drive over there? are there tour operators available to take me there by bus? I plan to stay in GC area 2D/1N (?)

From GC, I plan to head off to Sedona by bus, spend 2D/1N, and then take bus back to las vegas. Are there buses that can take me back to las vegas from sedona? How many hours?

Then fly back to San Fo to catch my trip back home.

Is my plan feasible? anything I shld correct to make it better?
