Bus Tours Archives
Hi!
I’m from Germany and I will be in California in March.
I would like to see more then the big cities San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego. I’m fascinated by beautyfull/special landscappes and nature, so for example some nature sightseeings like the Grand Canyon or a desert. Or maybe a smaller nice village.
What do you think should I see? It has to be in a distance I can reach by car or bus.
Thanks!
Hie,
Me and my friends (inall 4 or 5 of us) are planning to visit Las Vegas from Aug 19-22. We would really like to see Grand Canyon too. We have a tight budget – can include around $100-250 (all 4 together) for grand canyon (cheaper the better). Got couple of questions:
1. Which part of Grand Canyon do you suggest we should visit (which one is more beautiful) Northern or Southern rim?
2. Can we visit either of them in one day (with an early start around 5 or 6 am) and be back the same day as to save money on hotel near Grand Canyon. How long does it take?
3. What will be cheaper ?
a. Renting the car for 4 days (use it in Las Vegas) and drive to Grand Canyon and then come back to Vegas.
OR
b. Don’t rent a car in Las Vegas (use public transport to commute from airport and within the city). Rent a car just to go to Grand Canyon.
OR
c. Take a bus ride to Grand Canyon?
Any other suggestions are more than welcome!
Thanks a lot ![]()

What is better driving to Grand canyon or taking a bus? If Bus, which one? How far is it by driving? What are the must see sights in Grand Canyon. Is it a good idea to go to back to Vages if we decide to drive to stay in Grand Canyon? Where in Grand Canyon should we stay? Or is it better to stay on the way to Vegas,
Do you know any cheap website to book a hotel for Memorial Day weekend?
I’m going for a vacation to Vegas July 15-21 and I’ve heard you can negotiate the price for either an air or bus tour to the grand canyon if you wait until you get there as opposed to trying to reserve on line. Any thoughts or ideas as to the best and cheapest way to do it? Anyone know of any promotions or discounts? Any help appreiciated. Thanks.
