I DONT NEED TO KNOW THE ANSWERS TO THESE QUESTIONS I JUST NEED TO KNOW HOW TO SOLVE THEM.
1.One Family from Europe went to the grand canyon snf they need to submit their weights so the helicopter company can plan a balanced seating arrangement. They submitted their weigt in kilograms. The 5 passengers weighed: 50kg, 60 kg, 70 kg, 80 kg, and 90 kg. If 1 kilogram is equal to 2.2 pounds, how many pounds did each passenger weigh?
2. Design a seating plan. Place 2 people on one side and 3 on the other with less than a 25 lb. difference between the 2 sides.
3.The maximum weight allowable for passengersin the helicopter is half a ton. The helicopter company wanted to fill the sixth passenger seat with a photographer. What was the greatest number the photographer could weigh?
criss angel jumped off of a ramp into the grand canyon on his t Rex (motorcycle hybrid) and in mid air he teleported into a cage hanging from a helicopter and his t Rex disappeared
I’m taking a day-long helicopter and pontoon boat tour of the Grand Canyon soon. I’ll be using an old Canon EF 35mm camera and will be shooting Fuji 400 ISO Pro color slide film H series. A pro told me to make sure to use a rubber lens hood especially on the glass of the helicopter to steady the lens and protect from glare. What I’m curious about is what practical shutter speeds should I expect to use on a moving helicopter – which I understand does hover for photos sometimes – and also what speeds would I likely to be using on a moving pontoon boat? Are the rules for photographing subjects in motion the same as when the photographer is in motion? My lenses include a Canon 50mm f1.4 lens w/polarizing filter, a Canon 24mm f2.8 lens, a Vivitar Series 1 35-85mm zoom lens and a Vivitar Series 1 70-210 zoom lens. I’d appreciate any advice an photographer experienced in these matters would give me.
I am trying to cut down my Christmas list to make it more affordable this year.
for my sister and brother in law, they usually get my A LOT of different little things, and they are always spoiling my husband and I with gifts, going out to eat, they let us live with them for 7 months last year when we first moved back to california from texas, and for our bdays, they took us on a helicopter ride from vegas to the grand canyon.
They need a new digital camera, b/c the one they have sucks, so i wanted to get that for them this year.. but if I did, that would be the only gift I would give them, along with maybe a homemade gift. seeing how much they spoil us, do you think that is enough of a gift, or should i get them more?
My hubby and I are going there for our second honeymoon (we went there the first time also) what kinds of things should we go see. The first time we saw sigfrid and roy and it was AMAZING!!! What should we do this time around. We did the paris picture and the gondola ride and the grand canyon. I would love to do the helicopter over the strip but I would be afraid of getting air sick……
Sorry, we are going in mid September
Ok, I’m going to the Grand Canyon to go Whitewater rafting down the Colorado river.
We will be taking a tour bus to the rafting destination, then we will go rafting, then we will be taking a helicopter ride out of the canyon and then the bus ride home.
Oh yeah, we will be eating lunch there too.
My question is: What is the proper tip to give to the
1. Bus driver
2. the rafter guide
3. the helicopter pilot
Flying over Tusayan, Arizona and landing at the Grand Canyon Airport there. Very satisfied with the Papillon Helicopters tour. This particular one took us over the Kaibab Plateau and through the Dragoon Corridor before turning back at the North Rim.
OK, I know that its human nature to always want to win. I mean seriously, who likes losing right? People tend to get over competitive, its normal…and I wont deny, Im sometimes like that too. But what I hate and gets me extremely irritated is when people make everything as if it were a competition. What’s even more irritating is when they take your ideas, and make something better out of it to make you look like a loser.
There is this one person who always does it to me. For once, I know she does it cuz she has no life. She brags about every single thing, esp on facebook. She makes people jealous of her…but really no one cares. She sees I bought a pair of shoes, she’ll buy 2 pair of shoes the next day. I bought an SLR camera, she buys a DSLR the next day (and she doesnt even know how to use it). Me and my bf took an airplane tour of Southern Cali for his bday, and next thing you know she decided to take a helicopter tour of the grand canyon with her bf. I can go on and on for hours. At first, i didnt notice. it was actually my friends who pointed it out. It made me feel good at first cuz when someone gets inflenced by you, it feels nice…but this is hella annoying. She basically copies everything i do! only to make it better!…what would you do?
