My 3 year old Daughter and i will be flying out to Tucson, Arizona in a week to visit my Husband who is in the US Army and is going off base for the first time since he’s been in Arizona. My hotel is near Tucson Airport and i really want to do some sight seeing over the weekend because that is the only time my Husband is allowed. It’s too bad we have no time to see the Grand Canyon but could there be something similar in Tucson or maybe some nice places to visit while we’re there? I really want to enjoy our short time being there and show my Husband & Family a good time. =) Thanks!

I will be going to Arizona Nov7-15th. Ive never been so i have tried to do some research. Im thinking first two nights in Scottsdale,next two in Sedona,next two at Grand Canyon.(Now heading home from Grand Canyon…one night in Sedona and the next night in Scottsdale or Pheonix to be close to airport to catch flight home). Any hotel advise or trip itinary would be soooo helpful. Id like to keep all rooms under 200.00 per night(theres two of us traveling adults) Thanks in advance!

-Where is the closest airport to the grand canyon
-When should I buy plane tickets?
-How much will ticket cost? Round trip.
-I’m 18, and I’m going with someone 22. Can we rent a car?
-If neither of us are old enough, Are there transportation services?

I need all the help I can get.
I haven’t really traveled much.

I am planning a tour to arizona for 3,4 days. I would like to know which airport is the closest to grand canyon and sedona from California? Is it sedona airport? I know that Sedona and Grand Canyon have beautiful scenes. Is it worthwhile to visit each of those places for 2 day? What are the cheap hotels around for under $100 / day? Are there any tour packages out there? Thanks alot!

In other words if Arizona would not have the Grand Canyon, would it still be a more popular destination, for domestic American tourists, than Colorado?
