We’re heading to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon and would like to stay near there. Anyone have any reccomendations? I’ve heard of lodges that you have to ride a mule to since there are no roads there but don’t know of the name. That interests us. Also, what else do you recommend to do in the area…places to eat, see, etc. thanks in advance!

I will want to get from the north rim to the south rim (or vice versa) with a bicycle and realize its about 200 miles of roads separating the two. Is there any service that would allow me to hike from rim to rim and have the bicycle transported by vehicle which would save a couple days? Or are there any other suggesetions. Thanks.
