Hi I’m planning a trip from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon South Rim in a couple of weeks. I was wondering if there were any gas stations along the way? How may time will we have to fill in gas if we have a compact car?

My friend and I are renting a car and staying at the Excalibur. I want to know the fastest way to get to the Grand Canyon’s South Rim. Thank you so much!!!!

I want to go to grand canyon for the weekend but all the motels nearby seem to be booked.
.I have never camped but iam exploring that option too.Dont know how it will be like…
I am doing searching for hotels in nearby cities 60 miles away.
Any ideas on how to look for accomodation for those 3 days near by

Help with Grand Canyon wedding – (South Rim) – July 2010?
My fiance proposed to me last year while we were on holiday in Arizona so we decided to get married on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. We are from Canada and are only having a few guests come with us – including his 3 children. We have a few plans sorted out….we are staying at the El Tovar, we already have the permit from the National Parks Service, the date will be July 29th (a Thursday), I bought my dress at Kleinfeld in Manhattan, he already has his suit, etc.

What we are looking for is details, perhaps from someone who may have been married there, that would help us with our arrangements. Also, if anyone has any vendor information that would be great! Like a hair salon (I’m guessing it will be in Williams, AZ), how to get to Grandeur Point and the what kind of weather can we expect.

Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated! 6 months to go and I can’t wait!
